Become a Mentee

The QBA Mentor Program is open to current University of Sydney students involved in the SUSF Elite Athlete Program. First priority goes to those playing for SUSFC in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies or post-graduate students.

Mentor partnerships are matched based on the mentee’s course of study, specialty and industry in which they are looking to pursue a career.

Successful mentors and mentees are advised of their partnerships via email.

Mentor meetings to occur once a month for 6 months.

The next QBA mentor program will commence in May 2017

“Being a part of the inaugural mentoring program through the QBA has been a wonderful experience. Through the program I have been fortunate enough to meet a professional in my field of study and gain valuable tips to help me prepare for my career ahead. Within this program I have been able to socialise with someone outside my usual circles and converse over shared passions (mainly football and football).

I am very grateful for the time put in by the organisers and mentors for making the program possible. I genuinely believe that this experience has set me apart from my peers, and I hope to one day repay the favour and mentor an up incoming footballer of Sydney Uni”
